Reason for Choosing Zeus:

I chose Zeus for my poem because he is the God of gods. I believe in an omniscient, omnipresent, and all-powerful God, and Zeus is the most closely related to the idea of God I engage my beliefs in. He also is the posseser of the Great Bolt, which I see as a sign of great leadership and responsibility, which makes Zeus a worthy leader for human-kind and god-kind alike.

Father of the Universe

All mighty with the lightning in his hand.

He ran the universe, on the throne he sat.

Father of Gods. Father of Man.

Powerful. Bold.

Majestic like the American Bald Eagle.

Overseer of the Universe, provided us shelter from the cold.
